Bring on theā¦bagels? Remember that part about craving more hands-on activity time? Well, I found a new hobby. Not great for my waistline but most excellent for my 1:1 bagel-loving Grant time.
Personal Touch - I spied a younger couple at yoga sneak in a subtle finger touch during a pose. While I was thinking hard about my always tight hamstrings, I thought harder about the power of the unexpected touch from your partner and the connection that creates. Sweet. Subtle. Synergy.
Finally! - Ambitious friends have put their heart and soul into this so-yummy-hard-for-me-to-keep-in-the-house, nut free spread. Iāve already told myself I can have my apple with their ācookie butterā today. And thatās itā¦.or, history shows, Iāll eat the whole jar in less than 24 hours. (Be sure to follow me for more self control tips.)

Peace out, Instagram. For now. Iām taking a break because Iāve been taking too many breaks during my too often aimless scroll sessions leaving me feeling lousy. While I get inspired daily, I have enough crafting and recipe inspiration stored up to keep me curious and busy for a while. When that well runs dry, Iām sure Iāll go back. But for now, this pause feels freeing. Care to join me?
I found this note both hilarious and awesome in this little/lot bit un-awesome time. Substack can give Insta vibes - just without all the makeup, filters, and excessive shopping feels. Just sayinā.

Friendly Reminder
A friend complimented my writing and drive to do so last night. I responded, āThanks, I really needed that today.ā Some hours/days/weeks the words flow. And others, they donāt. This week, they didnāt. But that one sentence - that one compliment - reinvigorated this writer.
This is your reminder that it doesnāt take much to impact someoneās hour/day/week - an in-person compliment, an emoji hug or the briefest of texts could truly brighten someoneās day and reinvigorate them, too.
I love the bite size, easily digestible bits you write and they always bring a smile to my face or give me a new idea or perspective = THANK YOU for that! I always look forward to your Friday 5, keep 'em coming. And I do love the egg puns, keep those coming too, lol.
I appreciate your words! Thank you for visiting my inbox.
