The Friday Five - The Eyes Have It
A few things I'm eyeing this week from pillows and places to people and products.
Eye Candy - I think accent pillows are hard-to-do. I’ve been admiring these for years but my fear of commitment gets me every time. Office update: my fear of color commitment has halted that progress, too. Hmmm…I don’t like this trend.
Idyllic Images: While one eye has been on pillows, the other has been on Caroline Pacula’s photography. If you love Northern CA, Southern CA or Hawaii, she has a piece for you. If you just love incredible photography, she has a piece for you, too.
Want. Want. Want. Commit. Commit. Commit. While California, including my son’s future high school, has restrictions, I wish the ban was from bell to bell. Lunch time is for conversing with friends, not scrolling with strangers.
AI - Loved my brilliant friend’s latest substack, Dear AI, It’s Me, Suzannah, where she consulted the bots on her makeup routine. “Here are my everyday makeup products, act as a world class makeup artist and let me know what you think of the products and shades for me. And if there are products I should stop using, swap out or add.” They certainly had an opinion. Expect more creative ideas on how to use the bots from her in future posts.
Ojai - Oh yes! Scott and I are crossing this one off my (non-existent) bucket list this summer. Any must dos? Must eats? Please share in comments so others can learn from you too!

We’re one week closer to summer break. I’ve been thinking a lot about how those feelings evolve as my kids get older. When they were little, I worried about filling each week for parenting relief. Now, I worry about finding weeks for parenting fun. Oh how times change.
Make it a great week-
Laura
