I can’t remember if we’re boycotting Target still or not. These things can be hard to keep track of these days. What I’m not boycotting is spending a wee bit of money to make your home feel more homey, your entertaining easier or your kids gross bathroom (ahem, boys!) prettier.
For the Loo
New bath mats and towels update a space immediately. I love these and really anything in the Cove colorway from Parachute for Target.

For Your Eyes
When I walk in a room that has no lamps to help anyone read, knit or needlepoint, I want to buy one for them immediately. (This may be why no one wants me to walk in their rooms.) This one is a stellar deal and quite sleek. The height is not adjustable which is the main reason why we went with these instead.

The rattan trend is hot (I’m sure someone says this) but I don’t want to go in too far on it. Just the lamp shade is a nice happy medium and can update a lamp you already have.

For Some Color
I will never, ever stop encouraging you to add plants to your house. These good size, reasonably priced planters will get you one step closer to your own indoor jungle.

For the Menu
My eyes always like a pop of reddish-orange and my organized brain loves a good tray. Key word in their tray description is powder coat which means a bit more resistant to chips and a super smooth finish. Nerding out over the details is a real strength of mine.

There you have five budget friendly recommendations you didn’t ask for to freshen things up at home. Next week, I’ll dive into some deeper feels again (maybe?) but my summer brain enjoyed this creative detour today. Hope you did, too.
